Media Committee Chair Responsibilities
- Assure that the Electoral Victory and Membership Committees are properly supported in an
integrated, coherent fashion through all media outlets available
- Assure that each media lead executes his assignments as determined by the Executive
Committee
- Develop and maintain a list of publicity

Responsibilities
- Gather all published editorials and submit to Web Lead for online publication
- Coordinate drives for letter-writing campaigns on specific issues
Newsletter Lead: TBD
Responsibilities
- Write and copy the monthly newsletter and deliver to Membership Committee Chair for
labeling, stamping, and mailing
- Contact advertisers to reduce costs
Newspaper Lead: TBD
Responsibilities
- Fax press releases and meeting announcements to local newspapers
- Maintain list of local newspaper points-of-contact
Public Speaking Lead: Lee McLamb
Responsibilities
- Promote the Libertarian Party with regular public speaking engagements
- Identify potential audiences for libertarian speakers
- Civic organizations
- Educational organizations
- Other special interest groups (naturists, gun clubs, homeowners associations, etc.)
- Provide a group of people who are trained and prepared to speak publicly on behalf of
the LPB and on libertarian issues in general
Radio Lead: TBD
Responsibilities
- Fax press releases and meeting announcements to local radio stations
- Maintain list of local radio points-of-contact
Television Lead: TBD

- Fax press releases and meeting announcements to local television stations
- Maintain list of local television points-of-contact
Web Lead: TBD
Responsibilities
- Assure the regular maintenance and update of the web site, incorporating advice and
inputs from the Executive Committee into its content
- Provide information on local politics, politicians, and hot topics in Brevard County
from a Libertarian perspective
- Regularly check the LPB electronic mail account and forward or reply to messages as
required
